The ejector pin time-lapse double ejection system is to make a gap at the bottom of the ejector pin that requires a time-lapse, and the depth of the gap is based on the distance of time-lapse, as shown in a part in figure 1.
This ejector pin is mainly composed of two main ways, one way is a holistic ejector pin, this kind of ejector pin is installed after completing the mold design, the diameter of the front and back sections of the ejector pin is the same, and the other way is to inversely install an ejector pin to be a basis at the bottom of the ejector pin, which will take a little bit more space.
Notice, the diameter of the ejector pin installed inversely can not be less than the diameter of the time-lapse ejector pin, as shown in part b in Figure 1.
The gap per-side between the inversely installed ejector pin and the ejector plate base plate does not exceed 0.01mm, and the gap of the overall ejector pin should be larger, we always take 0.5mm per-side.
Ejector pin time-lapse double ejection system is suitable for a small number of ejector pin-lapse ejection, when the mold has a large number of ejector pins that need to be delayed, you need to consider other methods.
